The public prosecutor’s office is waiting for an opinion
The suspect was arrested without resistance and later confessed to the shots. The police inspectorate in Trieben was closed for over a month after the crime and the four officers worked from Rottenmann. Today they return to their old office. They are assisted by colleagues specially trained for such difficult situations, says police spokesman Heimo Kohlbacher.
Looking for a new police station
The commander’s position has already been announced. Other service leaders from the district step in until a new appointment is made. A new location for the police inspection had been planned even before the bloody act. A decision on this could be made soon, Kohlbacher said.
