The Socialist Party has announced in a note that accepts the programmatic points raised by untamed France to reach agreement. These points include the increase of minimum wage to 1,400 euros per month, lower the minimum retirement age from the current 62 to 60, promote the Sixth Republic and even fail to comply with certain European regulations.

Despite agreement on the program, the two sides they will keep talking to close details and, among other things, negotiating whether or not to participate in the coalition elections.

Everything seems to indicate that the union of the left is now closer after it failed in the presidential election. Ecologists and communists could also be added.

Environmentalists approach agreement

French environmentalists gave signs this Friday that they are approaching an election deal for June’s parliamentary elections with the France Insumisa (LFI), Jean-Luc Mélenchon, a dominant figure on the left thanks to his result in the presidential election.
