The FBI this Thursday arrested the alleged author of the leaks of classified Pentagon documents on the Ukrainian war.
The detainee is Jack Teixeiraa man from 21 years and member of the air national guard from Massachusetts.
U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland has announced that he has been arrested “without incident” and is expected to appear before a Massachusetts federal court judge in the next few hours, where the indictment will be read and you will be asked to plead guilty or not guilty.
So far, the charges against the defendant have not been made public and according to Garland, the investigation is ongoing.
Most of the leaked documents relate to the war in Ukraine and provide details about the US and NATO plans. In addition, according to these leaks, some NATO countries have soldiers on Ukrainian territory.
