Disposed of as garbage – this sad fate has now befallen an old sheepdog near Strasshof in the Lower Austrian district of Gänserndorf. He is now in the shelter, the owner is being sought.
The dog grandpa was thrown out of a white car on Friday evening, which then just drove on. Witnesses noticed this incredible action and brought the four-legged friend to animal shelter Dechanthof in Mistelbach. “We are shocked”, the employees can hardly put into words the heartlessness of the owners.
Handling costs as a reason?
The older fur nose has a friendly disposition, but is likely to suffer from severe back pain. It can therefore not be ruled out that his owners wanted to avoid higher veterinary costs. In any case, the shepherd is lovingly cared for at the Dechanthof. Of course, the suspension should not be without legal consequences.
