The food delivery by a bicycle courier in Vienna on Monday night should have been fast. However, the way for the driver to get there was not certain. The delivery driver kicked hard around 8 p.m. (see video) on the Autobahn Südwesttangente near the Sankt Marx ramp.
It is not the first time that bicycle delivery drivers have been spotted by motorists on the Autobahn. The staff seem to go out of their way to get food delivered quickly. Or is it just a navigation error? About a year ago, a courier got lost on his bicycle on the Inntalautobahn in Innsbruck – reported the “Krone”. The video immediately went viral.
Exciting route filmed by driver
Also on Monday, a reader-reporter from “Krone” took out her mobile phone to film the delivery person on his particularly exciting route. One thing is certain, however: neither cycling on the highway nor using a mobile phone at the wheel ensure safety in traffic. Fortunately, the road was not busy that evening. It is not known whether the police have arrested the man on the A23.
