A serious incident occurred in Alpbach (Kufstein district) in Tyrol on Thursday afternoon! A two-year-old girl fell about ten feet while playing on the balcony. She was flown to the clinic in Innsbruck.
The girl must have come on the balcony around 5:30 pm while she was playing at home. According to police, the two-year-old was able to hoist himself onto the balcony railing with a toy, then fell about ten feet and landed on the ground.
Grandma alerted the emergency services
The grandmother noticed the accident and immediately called the emergency call. After first aid, the girl was flown to the clinic in Innsbruck with the emergency medical helicopter “Heli 4”. She must have been lucky in the accident and not have seriously injured herself. However, she was treated in the clinic for further clarification.
