Volkswagen Navarra will close for three days next week and the commission is asking for staff compensation

The reason is that “the parts for next week will arrive on Monday and cannot be kept in stock”.

The Volkswagen Navarra plant, located in Landaben, will close on Monday 24, Thursday 27 and Friday 28 April because “the parts for next Monday will arrive and cannot be kept in stock”.

As reported by the UGT, the union has transferred to management “the difficulty we sometimes have in understanding, with the logic of logistics, things that clearly seem illogical.” “Therefore, we understand that the time has come, as we have stated and agreed on other occasions, to ask for compensation for the efforts the team has been making for some time,” explains UGT.

In this regard, management “appreciated the committee’s position in extraordinary situations such as this” and stated “that this arrangement will be taken into account to respond to the request made throughout the year.”
