A 19-year-old lost control of his car early Saturday morning in Vorarlberg as he drove from Nenzing towards Bludenz – he rolled over several times and was ultimately a total loss. The driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Why the young man left the road is still a complete mystery. Due to the severity of his injuries, it could not be determined at the scene whether he may have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The 19-year-old should not have been driving anyway: his car did not have a traffic permit.
Due to the extensive rescue and recovery work, L190 had to be completely closed in both directions for approximately two hours.
