After the horrific bloody crime in Graz, where a 39-year-old woman was killed and a 31-year-old man was killed, the police have now secured the murder weapon. The suspect from Upper Austria stabbed his partner with a kitchen knife.
The circumstances that led to this tragedy in the Wetzelsdorf district of Graz are still unclear. The 28-year-old suspect from Steyr is still in a coma and has not yet been interrogated. The police have since seized the suspected murder weapon. The man allegedly stabbed his partner several times with the kitchen knife. The 39-year-old’s vital organs were injured and she died on the spot, despite efforts by rescuers to resuscitate her.
As reported, the Upper Austrian fled in his car after the terrible act. In nearby Straßganger Straße, however, there was a head-on collision with an oncoming car, which killed a 31-year-old from Graz.
The perpetrator is currently in a coma, police said. As soon as his health permits, he must be awakened from an artificial deep sleep to be questioned by the police. When that will be the case, however, the management cannot say.
