The officers found no one on site, but asked a tenant to open his door because of noise nuisance. The 61-year-old did the same and pointed a gun at the police officers stark naked.
At around 1:45 a.m., a resident of an apartment building called the police because someone was trying to break into her apartment. However, the officers did not find anyone at the scene, but heard loud music coming from one of the apartments and asked the resident to open the apartment door.
Open naked and armed
After ringing the doorbell several times, knocking loudly and clear communication that the police would be there, the 61-year-old from Graz opened the door of the apartment naked. He pointed a gun at the police officers, which he put down after a speech. He was subsequently arrested without resistance.
Police have seized a weapon
The officers transferred the 61-year-old to the Graz Police Detention Center. The gun and his gun license were confiscated. He was given a temporary gun ban. He is reported on suspicion of dangerous threats and attempts to defy state authority.
