Up to 23 degrees possible – In Austria it remains warm and rainy

Date:

Just like last weekend, Austria can look forward to spring-like temperatures this Saturday: up to 23 degrees are expected in the south. However, the weather remains changeable. Dense clouds will move across the sky in the coming days and some showers and thunderstorms are also expected. So the thick coat can stay at home, but don’t forget an umbrella.

Even at the end of the month, the weather remains as changeable as it should be in April. Over time, however, one becomes more modest and, despite dense clouds, one can look forward to daily maximum temperatures of up to 18 degrees on Friday. In the west and along the northern side of the Alps, it should often rain continuously, in the other regions only occasional showers can be expected. It should remain dry in the east, but here too the clouds do not make room for a few rays of sunshine.

Saturday it can be up to 23 degrees
It is also changeable on Saturday. A few showers or even thunderstorms are to be expected, especially in the north, east and southeast. However, the sun should also appear occasionally throughout Austria. It is getting warmer: in the south, maximum daytime temperatures would rise to 23 degrees.

Sun hours only possible in phases
At the end of the week, weak disturbance influence, especially in the east, will again bring short, unproductive showers. In the west it should remain dry for the time being. Also on Sunday, the sun only comes out in phases – more often in the afternoon. On the eastern edge of the Alps, a strong north wind blows first. In the morning it can get up to ten degrees, during the day it can rise to 21 degrees again from northeast to southwest.

Beginning of the month remains unstable
May is also changeable: Monday a low-pressure channel forms between the North Sea and Italy, making it rainy weather, especially in the west, on the national holiday. Rain showers are also expected in the south and southeast in the beginning. With a strong southern current, it is partly loose on the north side of the Alps and also somewhat milder. Especially in the Danube area, a strong wind blows from the south. It should not get cold anyway: maximum temperatures of up to 21 degrees are also possible at the beginning of the week.

On Tuesday, the sunny phases should then last a little longer. The umbrella still needs to be used occasionally. There may also be occasional thunderstorms.
