An aggressive Viennese family kept the police sharp in Leopoldstadt on Wednesday. A neighbor alerted the emergency services because the 26-year-old son was rioting in the stairwell. The young man then behaved aggressively towards the officers and hit them and a service dog. When his mother (55) wanted to prevent the arrest, he and the woman were arrested.
At first the twin sister wanted to calm down the 26-year-old, whereupon he began to strangle the young woman. He violently defended himself against the subsequent arrest by beating the police with his fists and also kicking them. The service dog was also kicked in the head. The 55-year-old then tried several times to prevent her son from being arrested, so that the officers had to arrest her as well.
Mother suddenly fainted
The 26-year-old was apprehended only through the use of a police dog and pepper spray. The mother was probably so excited that she suddenly passed out, so that the emergency services had to be called, who also took care of the son because of the pepper spray.
