The fire brigade tried in vain on Sunday night to find the owner of an abandoned car in the municipality of Pongau in Wagrain. Partial success: the vehicle could at least be salvaged properly.
The car left the road between Kleinarl and Wagrain and finally came to a stop at a ditch. The vehicle alerted the rescue service and also the first responder Wagrain-Kleinarl with a silent alarm.

However, since the vehicle was found abandoned when it arrived, the emergency services searched the area on the Kleinarler Ache and in the surrounding area – without success.
The rescue took more than 70 minutes. The fire brigade was involved with two supervisors and nine men, plus three rescue workers and three police officers.
