While searching for two missing teens, the Oklahoma Police Department made a gruesome discovery at a rural estate. Authorities found seven bodies.
According to investigating sheriff Eddy Rice, it is a property near the town of Henryetta. A police spokesman said the identities of the victims have not yet been released. A missing persons report had previously been issued, in which the two teenagers, two girls aged 14 and 16 and a 39-year-old man were also wanted. The two missing girls were last seen with the suspect.
Suspect also dead?
“We think we’ve found the individuals, we’re still awaiting confirmation,” Sheriff Rice said at a news conference Monday. According to US media, the man is said to be a convicted sex offender who was released from prison in 2020 after serving a 16-year sentence and should have appeared in court again on Monday. According to the information, the suspect has solicited minors for sexual activities and is in possession of child pornography. Among the bodies now found would be that of the suspect.
