40,000 euros in damage – Burglary trio is said to have evacuated twelve houses

Date:

In January, Salzburg police arrested three men from Montenegro and Germany. The trio were caught shortly after breaking into a Plainfeld home. The detectives are now sure: twelve more burglaries can be attributed to the gang.

According to the police, the crimes took place between December 2022 and February 2023. The suspects – two Montenegrins (both 47) and a German with Serbian roots (70) – always used tools to enter the houses through windows or patio doors. They stole jewelry and money. All crimes took place in Flachgau, when the perpetrators struck in the city of Graz.

The loot amount is around 25,000 euros, the total amount of damage is even 40,000 euros. So far, however, the suspects have only confessed to the Plainfeld burglary. They deny any involvement in the other crimes.
