At least eight people have been killed and 13 others injured after gunfire in a village in Serbia. A man shot at a group of people in the village of Dubona from a moving car on Thursday evening – a suspected 21-year-old perpetrator was found a little later.
Shocked after a gun attack near the town of Mladenovac, some 60 kilometers south of the capital Belgrade, the perpetrator shot a group of people with a rapid-fire weapon and then fled, the state news agency Tanjug reported, citing police. After a large-scale manhunt, his whereabouts could be found – he was eventually surrounded by a large contingent of police forces. The operation was still going on Friday morning.
