Homicide alert on Sunday in Tyrol: A fatally injured person was found in a small truck in a parking lot along the highway near Zirl in the Innsbruck-Land district. A bloodied man was arrested in another vehicle nearby. The LKA Tyrol is investigating – forensics are on site.
The mortally wounded was found in the morning hours in the parking lot of Asfinag near Zirl in the small truck with a Polish number plate, police spokesman Stefan Eder told the “Krone”.
Identities currently unclear
“Next to it was another small truck in which a bloodied person could be found,” Eder continued. The man was arrested. The identities of the two men are not yet known.
The LKA Tirol has launched an investigation – the forensic investigators were still on site on Sunday afternoon. The arrested person is currently being questioned at the Innsbruck Criminal Investigation Office.
