Third place was for the conservative group Safe Chile, with 21.1% of the vote.

The other options are not represented in the Constitutional Council.

The founder of the Republican Party, Jose Antonio Kastdeclared after his formation’s victory that “Chile defeated a failed government” and that “today is the first day of a brighter future for our country, it is the first day of a new beginning for Chile”.

Chilean President, Gabriel Boronconceded defeat and called on the Republican Party not to “make the same mistake” the coalition made, citing the previous constitutional process, rejected in a referendum in September 2022.
