Two seriously injured people caused work accidents in Tyrol on Monday. A worker (69) fell from a ladder and had to be flown to hospital. A second (20) fell off a trailer. Both suffered serious ankle injuries.
Shortly before noon, a serious incident occurred at a construction site in Reutte. Around 11:20 am, an employee (20) of a metal construction company wanted to unload metal mesh from his trailer. After he loosened the band, one of the grilles fell over. While trying to hold on to the grid, the 20-year-old fell off the trailer onto the tarmac floor. He broke his right ankle and injured his head. After first aid, he was taken to the BKH Reutte.
