Three vehicles collided in Abtenau im Tennengau on Tuesday morning. A van overturned when it collided with a car and a minibus and skidded some 20 meters on the road. Three people were injured.
Shortly after 9 a.m., 17 members of the Abtenau fire brigade arrived at the scene of the accident on the B166 on the Schwaighofbrücke. While the three injured were being treated by the rescue service, the fire brigade could start with the clean-up work.
The fire brigade, which was on the scene with three vehicles, secured the scene of the accident and deposited a large amount of fuel and oil that had contaminated the road. After the accident vehicles had been removed, the fire service cleaned the road with a high-pressure hose.
The road was passable again after about an hour and a half.
