Viennese police have succeeded in tracking down a student who allegedly posted amok threats against a high school on social media.
Last Saturday, the threats were received by a high school student in Vienna-Margareten. In it, an unknown spoke about shooting people in the school on Monday. Shortly afterwards, the police were alerted and the suspect was found.
Girl was bullied at school
The suspect is a minor girl. The student admitted to having been behind the threat. “The girl said she was bullied at school,” says a spokeswoman.
In her confession, the girl said she did not want to carry out the threats. A house search found an iPad and a mobile phone. How old the girl is, the police did not want to disclose on Wednesday.
