As of today, every reader can, with little effort, directly show the responsible politicians that they must act and improve the animal protection law!
Six provincial councils for animal protection, animal protection ombudsmen from eight states and the country’s largest animal protection organizations are mobilizing and demanding that the legislative changes announced by politicians are finally adopted. Because while the relevant legal texts have already been adapted for keeping farm animals, there is apparently a standstill in the pet sector.
With just a few clicks
Pressing issues such as torture breeding (more on that in the next Sunday edition of the “Krone”), illegal puppy trade and stricter rules in hobby breeding have long been a major focus of the “Krone” and its readers. To raise awareness among political representatives of the importance, an e-mail protest campaign was launched. With a few clicks, anyone can join here and send a message to the government officials involved.
Citizens must take action
This is an important initiative for “Krone” animal corner boss Maggie Entenfellner, and she herself sent the ready message, which is automatically sent to the responsible politicians. “It is important that we citizens show our dissatisfaction and that the people in the House are made aware of the will of their voters. It can’t go on like this, a lot is going wrong,” says the dedicated animal rights activist.
