Ukrainian negotiator David Arajamia has confirmed in recent hours that Russian troops are on the territory of the Steel plant Azovstal in Mariupolhours after Russian government spokesman Dimitri Peskov denied an attack on the metallurgical plant. “Russian troops are already in Azovstal territory,” Radio Svoboda and the Unian news agency said.

Humanitarian corridors are in effect from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time (from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Basque Country) during Thursday, Friday and Saturdaythey have informed the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“During that period, the troops of the armed forces of Russia and the Donetsk People’s Republic will cease all combat operations” and “units will withdraw to a safe distance,” they said.
Likewise, the Russian authorities have indicated that the citizens evacuated from the Azovstal facilities can decide whether to remain in Ukraine or be transferred to Russia.
