Monday afternoon there was a violent row in the street in Vienna-Liesing. The police had observed the fight between several men and immediately intervened.
The loud street fight escalated after several men attacked each other. The officers asked for further assistance because of the aggressive group of men. One of the officers managed to separate a 37-year-old from the others after he was most aggressive, according to police.

The policeman was grabbed by the arm of the 37-year-old and was injured. Fortunately, the officer was able to continue his work. The 37-year-old is charged with grievous bodily harm and defiance of state authority. It is not yet clear what caused the altercation.
