Then an emergency kit makes sense. Superprepper Stefan Spiegelsberger reveals what belongs in an escape backpack (see checklist below).
“Escape backpack always sounds like ‘I have to go 600 miles away,’ but that’s actually not the case at all,” says Stefan Spiegelsberger, an expert in preparation, blackouts and disaster preparedness. “No”, he says, but: “Emergency luggage.” For example in case of heavy storms, imminent avalanches or destructive floods – of which there are not too few here due to the climate crisis.
