Four injured in Upper Austria – Suddenly there was a bang, then the children’s room burned down

Date:

A fire in the children’s room caused four injuries in a house in St. Georgen an der Gusen (Upper Austria) on the night of the holiday. The exact cause is still unclear. It was initially suspected that a light chain might have broken down.

A bang woke the residents of a family home in St. Georgen an der Gusen shortly after midnight on the holiday. The residents – a 46-year-old, her partner (51), the son (14) and his friend (13) – were just able to go outside.

All four suffered minor burns to their hands and three of them were taken to Kepler University Hospital for medical treatment. The children’s room burned down completely, the building was uninhabitable for the time being.
