A farmer in Schwarzenberg was just about to load hay onto his hay loader on Thursday when the small truck suddenly overturned on the driver’s side. The man’s legs were trapped under the vehicle. Eyewitnesses administered first aid until emergency services arrived.

The alarmed fire brigade eventually used an air cushion to lift the hay loader slightly and free the man from his plight. The injured farmer was taken to hospital with a Christopherus 8 helicopter.
