After a call from a friend, a 34-year-old wanted to get out on Friday evening at an inn Langenwanger in the Styrian district of Mürzzuschlag. But because his wife wouldn’t let him, the drunk simply jumped out of the moving minibus. He injured himself in the process.
Drunk people are always lucky? Not the 34-year-old who suddenly opened the door while driving in Langenwang on Friday evening and just jumped out.
Go to the inn at all costs
But how did it happen? A 34-year-old woman brought home her husband, whom she had previously picked up drunk. On his way home his mobile phone rang: a friend who was staying in an inn on Wiener Strasse called him.
When the two drove past the inn, the woman wouldn’t stop. So the 34-year-old just opened the door and jumped out into the street. The man sustained injuries as a result. At first he did not respond, he was admitted to the LKH Hochsteiermark.
Steirer must have been drinking all day
His wife turned around only two kilometers from the scene of the accident. She told the police that her husband had drunk large amounts of alcohol during the day, but that he himself has not yet been questioned. But the driver was completely sober. An investigation is underway into the exact course of the accident.
