“Hey man, where is my car?”, a Tyrolean (63) may have wondered on Saturday in Oberlangkampfen (Kufstein district). While he went shopping, his car became independent and drove towards the inn. The vehicle nearly swam off into the river.
The incident happened just before 2 p.m. Wanting to go shopping, the 63-year-old went to a farm shop in Oberlangkampfen. He parked his car nearby. “Maybe he forgot to put on the handbrake,” police said.
Farmer saved car
The vehicle then rolled across the street and down an embankment in the direction of the Inn. “The car did not drive into the river through a tree trunk.” A farmer came to the aid of the 63-year-old and pulled the vehicle back onto the road. The car was not damaged.
