“No crime” – interrogation after abuse in a house in Upper Austria

Date:

Disabled caregiver allegedly assaulted three residents. Now the next chapter in the investigation is opened. The suspect also has a say in the true sense of the word, if he so wishes.

The police investigation has now been completed. After that, the hearings will follow. That is, the three victims are questioned by the judge and the prosecutor. “Defendant and – if he wants – also the defendant sit in an adjoining room and can ask questions from there,” explains Christoph Weber of the Wels public prosecutor’s office.

accused fired
As reported by the “Krone”, its authority has been investigating for more than a month a disabled person who allegedly assaulted three disabled women at a Caritas facility in the Hausruckviertel and touched them while grooming their genitals. The suspect, who confessed to Caritas, was fired. On the other hand, he spoke of a “kind of intrigue” about the “crown”. Many things were “twisted” and he was “damaged for life” and “did nothing”.

Whether the suspect is prosecuted will mainly depend on whether the judiciary gives more credence to him or to the three alleged victims.
