The columns that left Salvatierra, Bilbao and Bergara this week have converged on the capital Alava.
After a “great reception” in the many cities it has visited, the march of the Pensioners’ Movement of Euskal Herria arrived today in Vitoria-Gasteiz to conclude this week’s mobilization with a demonstration that took place in the streets of the capital of Alava will pull.
The initiative wants to claim that supplement to the minimum pensions up to 1080 euros. The march began on Monday with the departure of two columns from Bilbao and Bergara (Gipuzkoa), joined on Tuesday by a third from Salvatierra (Álava).
The three columns have converged in the Vitoria district of gamarra, where they chanted slogans in favor of the movement and “decent” pensions. Together they go to the Basque parliament to get their demands to the political groups.
The movement has rated the reaction of the retirees and the “great reception” they have had as they passed through all the cities “very positive”.
