A motorcyclist (64) lost control of his machine in a sharp right turn and collided head-on with an oncoming car. The seriously injured Upper Austrian was rescued and taken to Freistadt hospital.
A 64-year-old from Waidhofen an der Thaya district drove to a car at 12:25 p.m. on Sunday. At a sharp right turn, he ended up on the left side of the road and collided head-on with the oncoming car, driven by a 23-year-old from the Freistadt district.
The 64-year-old was thrown over the dike with his motorcycle and was taken seriously injured to the LKH Freistadt with the Tragwein ambulance.
