20 to 30 people – mass brawls and shots in front of Linz nightclub

Desert scenes are said to have taken place in front of a nightclub in Linz on Sunday evening. 20 to 30 people are said to have attacked each other and shots were fired. When the police arrived, neither the victims nor the perpetrators could be found. However, five cartridge cases were seized.

Angry eyewitnesses called 911 at 2:15 am on Sunday and stated that there had been a brutal altercation in front of a nightclub in Linz. 20 to 30 people – mainly Serbs and Albanians – are said to have been involved in a mass brawl.

In addition, three men are said to have drawn firearms and shot around with them. One person is said to have been pressed to the ground during the brawl and threatened with a gun. The police confirmed the incident at the request of “Krone”.

No victims and no perpetrators
When the police arrived on the scene with several patrols, all those involved had already fled. The police were unable to locate either the victims or the perpetrators, and an immediate search was negative. However, at the scene, officials were able to secure five suitcases, most likely from an empty gun.
