Lawn mowing ended painfully for a pensioner (69) from Upper Austria on Monday morning. He fell and was run over by a 300-pound motor mower.
The 69-year-old from the Freistadt district mowed a meadow near his agricultural yard with a motor mower on Monday morning. At around 8:10 a.m. he drove this agricultural implement, which weighed about 150 kilos, up a steep verge.
Injured indefinitely
The pensioner fell and was run over by the power mower. He was injured to an undetermined degree and was taken to the accident hospital in Linz after first aid.
