A man and his ex-wife – both from Slovakia – were completely drunk when they got into a fight in their apartment in Klagenfurt. The argument ended with a fall from the second floor.
Shortly before midnight, an argument broke out between the former couple in the shared apartment. Since both were heavily drunk, the argument escalated. “The ex-wife prevented the 43-year-old man from Slovakia from leaving his apartment by locking the front door,” the police said. The man had first tried to force the door – without success.
Balcony as escape route
However, he then decided to use the second floor balcony to go out. “The man fell and landed on the canopy of the condominium’s waste island. He was slightly injured,” a police officer told the “Krone”.
After first aid on site, the drunkard was taken by ambulance to the clinic in Klagenfurt. A report is now being filed against his ex-wife and an entry and driving ban has also been issued.
