Who killed the mover Stefan M. (52)? Detectives hope for a lead through fingerprints or video recordings.

Who killed Stefan M. (52)? And how? These questions are currently getting on the nerves of the Salzburg police detectives. As the “Krone” reported, police officers found the furniture mover’s lifeless body in his apartment on the third floor of a ten-story building in the Salzburger Schallmoos district on Wednesday night.

The police officer climbed into the apartment with the help of the fire brigade
A concerned acquaintance had called the management earlier. A policewoman was able to climb through the window into M.’s apartment using a rotating ladder from the professional fire brigade. Since the autopsy, it’s clear it was murder. M. was brutally murdered in his apartment – at least that is certain. But the police have no suspect. Nor is it clear whether and what kind of weapon was used for the crime. That is why the environment and the past of the murder victim are now being investigated, a police spokesman reveals.

At the crime scene, the detectives’ specialists secured various traces, including shoe and fingerprints and DNA material. If there is a hit in the database, “Commissioner DNA” can lead detectives directly to a possible suspect. Another glimmer of hope in the investigation: the security camera of a gas station right next to the house. She may even have filmed M.’s murderer, as the camera also captures the entrance area of the apartment building. The police are also asking any witnesses for information or perceptions to clear up the mysterious murder case – on the number: 059/133 50 3333.
