In Bad Radkersburg in Styria, a cyclist aged just 26 died in an accident on Sunday. The Styrian had hit a German fire truck from behind.
A 26-year-old man from Southeast Styria died on Sunday on the B 69 near Bad Radkersburg. He was cycling towards Halbenrain shortly before entering the city when a team transporter from the Nordhausen (Germany) fire brigade stopped in front of him. One of the occupants had apparently become nauseous and the 19-year-old driver had to stop on the right side of the road.
The 26-year-old Styrian drove into the vehicle without braking. He was mortally wounded. An alcohol test on the driver of the German vehicle was negative.
