Wooden floor collapsed – three injured at “Airsoft” competition in Tyrol

Three Germans, a man (53) and his son (23) from the Munich region and a 47-year-old from the Stuttgart region, enjoyed an “airsoft” match in the Tyrolean district of Innsbruck-Land on Sunday. When the bottom of a wooden platform suddenly broke, the three men plunged from a height of about three meters onto a gravel floor – with devastating consequences.

A 23-year-old from the Munich area was seriously injured in the lower leg, his 53-year-old father suffered a head injury.

Father and son taken to hospital
A 47-year-old from the Stuttgart area suffered minor injuries. Father and son were taken to the clinic in Innsbruck, the police said. The investigation into the exact course of the accident was still ongoing. Reports would then be sent to the responsible authorities, it said.
