During a house search, the police found tens of thousands of euros in cash and luxury watches

Date:

Investigations into an April 1 drug attack in Villach have now led to the arrest of a gang supplier at Klagenfurt airport.

In April, five suspects from Villach between the ages of 28 and 39 found several hundred grams of cocaine, small amounts of heroin, ecstasy, MDMA, cannabis and crystal meth. In addition, cash, hard drives, several mobile phones and narcotics were seized. The men were suspected of operating an organized drug trade, police said. “The drugs were partially cut by a dealer in his business in Villach and resold at a profit in his area.”

150,000 euros in cash
Some dealers used the proceeds to buy NFTs, collections of gold coins and expensive watches. “During the investigation, a 32-year-old Carinthian was found and arrested in Vienna in mid-May,” the police said. “Moreover, the tracks led to a drug supplier in Klagenfurt.” On Sunday, the police struck and arrested the 25-year-old at Klagenfurt airport and conducted a house search.

“The agents managed to secure tens of thousands of euros in cash, narcotics, receipts for cryptocurrencies, various jewelry, luxury watches worth tens of thousands of euros and cannabis,” the police said. “His sports car has also been seized because there is also a suspicion that it was financed with drug sales.”

50 takers
In the investigations since the April raid, 50 customers have been identified and reported. The total value of the drugs sold and seized is approximately €250,000 and almost €150,000 in cash and valuables were seized.
