The purpose of the adjustments is to “adapt” the services to the changes in demand and “facilitate the rest” of the professionals.
Osakidetza has called on the unions for another meeting of the sectoral table to announce the preliminary schedule for the summer of the year. Primary care centers and the Continuous Points of Attention (PAC)as well as an offer to negotiate new prices for self-contracting in PAC and emergency situations.
The Basque health service has reported through a statement that “like all summers and holiday seasons”, the days are adjusted of primary care centers and PACs.
The changes, as indicated, are in line with the objective of these services “adjust” to changes in demand taking place on those dates and “facilitate rest” for professionals of health centers.
Osakidetza has indicated that, “as usual, there are centers, the vast majority, in which opening hours are maintainedwhile in others “staff is reinforced”. In turn, there are cases where opening times are shortened or centers “they close punctually or throughout the summer period”.
