It was about 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday when passersby drew the attention of the police to the argument between two men. The two fighters were a 30-year-old and a 53-year-old. Officials were able to separate the two men before violent attacks ensued. The 30-year-old threatened his opponent to kill him.
Three police officers injured in official act
Suddenly the mother (54) of the 30-year-old came forward and grabbed the 53-year-old by the neck. She also threatened to kill the man. When the officers tried to arrest the 54-year-old’s son, she suddenly found herself in front of her “child”. Meanwhile, the 30-year-old tried to punch a police officer in the face with his fist. He also defended himself with violent punches and kicks.
Mother and son were heavily drunk
After the emergency services had restrained the 30-year-old, the mother suddenly attacked the officers with a crutch and hit an officer on the back. According to the Viennese police, a total of three employees were injured in the incident and one even had to be taken to hospital. But that’s not all: an alcohol test was performed on the mother and her son. The 30-year-old had 3.3 per thousand – the mother 2 per thousand.
