A two-year-old boy who fell into a swimming pool in Sierning in Upper Austria on Saturday night and stopped breathing had a giant guardian angel. The desperate parents managed to resuscitate their child.
For only about a minute or two, the two-year-old sat unnoticed in the garden of his childhood home on Saturday night. But that had immediate fatal consequences. Because the little one climbed over the side wall of their own pool in a short time, fell into the pool and went under.
Son floated under water
After noticing his son’s absence at around 7:49 p.m., the father immediately began a feverish search for him and found him floating lifeless in the pool. He immediately jumped in, took the boy out of the pool and carried him into the living room, where he and his wife began CPR efforts.
Vital functions resumed
After a short time, the little one started breathing and screaming again. After first aid, the child was taken to the Steyr Clinic by the emergency doctor. There is no longer any danger to life.
