Near the American city of Philadelphia, a prisoner with athletic skills managed to escape from the institution. The convicted killer climbed horizontally and stretched between two walls (see video above).
The escape of this prisoner in the US state of Pennsylvania is quite spectacular: a 34-year-old prisoner took advantage of his stay on the outside railing of the prison by athletically climbing a wall. Danelo Cavalcante wedged himself between two walls with outstretched arms and legs, then backed up until he reached the roof.
Prisoner passed the watchtower unnoticed
Eventually he climbed over the barbed wire on the roof and was able to escape unnoticed by an employee in a watchtower. The 34-year-old had been given a life sentence after stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death.
Police posted video of the escape on Facebook in an attempt to apprehend the fugitive:
Second incident in a few months
Particularly embarrassing for the prison: in May, a prisoner escaped from the institution in a similar way. Security measures were subsequently increased, a facility representative said, but that failed to prevent another outbreak. There has been no trace of the athletic escapee for days.
