On the B 73 in St. Georgen an der Stiefing (Styria), two cars collided at high speed. Several people were injured and one woman had to be evacuated by helicopter.
Two wrecks were left behind around 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon in a horrific collision between two cars. The two vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons at an intersection of the B 73/L 664 in the municipality of St. Georgen an der Stiefing.
Driver suffered life-threatening injuries after rescue
Several people were also injured in the blast. To save the driver of one of the two wrecked cars, the Obergralla Fire Department had to remove the driver’s door. The woman from the Leibnitz district suffered serious to life-threatening injuries and had to be transported by helicopter.
Two occupants of the convertible with minor injuries were taken to the LKH Südsteiermark.
