This year the Carinthian Hunters Association is particularly happy with the 119 rescued fawns – in the Klagenfurt area alone – and has published a video worth seeing, in which you can see a beautiful lifebuoy. The rescue of fawns from the cruel mowing death has successfully established itself in Carinthia through the use of hunters, volunteers and drones.
Well before sunrise – around 3:30 am – the kitz rescuers are on the move. The Carinthian Hunters Association supports the use of drone pilots. “In 2023, so many farmers have contacted them again that most of the three drones were in use at the same time in the Klagenfurt project district and are still being used if necessary,” say the hunters.
