Tempting ads – despite warnings: Tyrolean falls into crypto

Date:

Almost every day, various scams related to investments on internet platforms become public. A Tyrolean (72) has transferred a lot of money to a Polish account, which has probably disappeared by now. . .

The 72-year-old from Zillertal discovered a supposedly easy way to earn money through advertisements on the Internet. As a result, the injured person has transferred amounts in euros in the upper four-digit range to a Polish account.

Investments in cryptocurrencies counterfeited
The money was allegedly invested in various cryptocurrencies on the exchange, which promised a profit guarantee. The 72-year-old, who had already made the transfers, became suspicious and did his own research on the site.

He found out it was a scam. All attempts to recover the money have failed.
