It could have been the very last photo of the submarine Titan.
A videographer aboard the Polar Prince mothership waved out to sea for a selfie clip for her TikTok page.
There you can still see the 6.70 meter long “Titan” swimming on the waves. The post is marked with the words “Watch a submarine descend to the Titanic.”
Abbi Jackson previously filmed Titanic expert Paul Henri Nargeolet before boarding the submarine.
The 77-year-old, who wanted to dive to the bottom of the ocean for the 38th time, waved and smiled at the camera.
The 22-year-old left the video clips on her TikTok, but has since reached out to concerned commenters: “Thank you for your compassion. Pray for the five crew members!”
