Accident drama Sunday in Vienna: Around 11.30 pm a collision took place between a car and a moped in Vienna-Floridsdorf in Kugelfangasse. The driver of the moped was then run over by the motorist – she died immediately at the scene of the accident.
Shortly before midnight, a 37-year-old woman was driving her car toward the bullet trap intersection when she suddenly collided with a moped. Another passenger was on the moped. According to the current investigation status, the two women were thrown from the moped and fell.
Witnesses drew attention to disputes over Crash
According to the Viennese police, the 37-year-old then caught the moped rider and rolled over her. Witnesses were able to observe the accident and drew the attention of a patrol of the Vienna State Traffic Service to the accident. The police immediately started life support. An emergency doctor who was then alerted was only able to determine the woman’s death. She died at the scene of the accident.
The passenger suffered only minor injuries and was taken to hospital. The driver of the car was unharmed.
