A drunk driver ended up with her car in the ditch in Vorarlberg on Saturday night. The car had gone off the road for unknown reasons.
The 28-year-old woman drove onto Lustenauer Strasse in the direction of Hard at 03:35 on Saturday morning. According to the driver, the car steered to the right for unknown reasons, causing her to countersteer to the left. The car swerved to the left and she steered to the right again. She eventually completely lost control of the car, which went off the road, briefly driving into the meadow next to the road, before entering the ditch – including overturning.
The driver of the vehicle suffered unknown injuries in the accident. The car was a total loss. The driver’s breath alcohol test showed a value of 0.56 mg/l.
