The 47th Bachmann Prize goes to the German writer Valeria Gordeev. The German convinced the jury with her text about a cleaning fanatic. A decision was taken on the presentation of the prize of 25,000 euros in the Klagenfurt Theater on Sunday morning.
After the jury deliberations, the Ukrainian author Yevgeniy Breyger, the Austrian Anna Felnhofer and the German Valeria Gordeev had good chances to win.
